The final movement from the extended work "Sacred Place," this beautiful setting of a Wendell Berry text is a poignant reminder of our connectedness to the world around us. Pedal tones and a free-flowing tempo create a meditative feel, achieving the composer's hopes to "provide a brief moment of respite in our current climate of unease." In this standalone version, a second stanza of text has been added that is not present in the original.
