Pamugun | Fancisco F. Feliciano
In the southwest Pacific Ocean, there are 7,000 tropical islands that comprise the Philippines. The language of Pamugun is Maguindanao, one tf the local languages in the province of the same name in Mindanao Island, the second largest island in the Philippines. Maguindanao is related to Malay, the language spoken in Singapore and in Western Malaysia, the country nearest Mindanao Island. In the regions of Metro Manila, the largest city in the Philippines, Tagalog is the language spoken; it is the base of the Filipino language.
The text is of folk origin. It relates a conversation between a hunter and a sparrow.
